The Grange has been around for over 25 years, becoming The Grange (2016) Ltd in 2016 when new management was bought in. Since then we have grown, evolved and become who we are today.
We provide support for up to 25 people in a range of residential and supported living settings in Cranbrook, Kent, and the surrounding areas. These settings are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and are each currently rated as ‘Good’. We are committed to achieving the best lives and highest quality standards for the people we support.
As part of our strategy for growth and development, in 2020 we became part of Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) as a wholly owned subsidiary. QEF is a Surrey based charity with an 85-year history of providing innovative services to enable disabled people to increase their independence. They also have extensive experience in the Health and Social Care sector. Whilst our day to day services remain unchanged, our staff are supported by established shared services such as finance and business development, as well as senior management support that will enable us to consolidate and grow in the future.
Who we provide support for
We provide support predominantly to individuals funded by Kent County Council through residential care contracts or as part of the Supported Living Services contract.
We also hold some contracts in our residential services with individuals placed out of borough. We currently work with the London Boroughs of Bromley, Brent and Camden, and Fife Council.
We can support people with individual budgets or self funding placements.
